For content creators, more data is not always better. Useful data should appear when needed and quickly answer a simple question: how is the account doing today? Creator Widget 2.0 reorganizes its information hierarchy around that question.
Lighter motion
Earlier animations emphasized change itself, which worked well for a first impression. But when a widget stays on screen, strong animation can become distracting. Version 2.0 uses subtler entry, refresh and value-change feedback, helping people notice updates without repeated interruption.
We kept small animations for important number changes while reducing the visual weight of charts and background elements. Follower counts, goal progress and growth trends remain the focus.
A clearer information hierarchy
The data creators care about spans different timescales: current followers describe the present, goal progress reflects a stage, and trend lines show a longer period. Version 2.0 separates these into clearer levels so numbers do not all compete for attention in the same place.
Small widgets prioritize key numbers and goal progress. Medium widgets add trends, while larger widgets have room for more account comparisons and period-based information. This hierarchy keeps the widgets readable across different Home Screen layouts.
Details for everyday use
The update also improves empty states, loading states and data error messages. When a public MID cannot be read, data is delayed or an account changes state, the widget gives a clearer explanation so people do not have to guess what happened.
For a lightweight tool, reliability comes from these details. People will not study a widget every day, but they will glance at it every day. Stability, simplicity and restraint are therefore the main direction for Creator Widget 2.0.

We’ll continue refining the product around creators’ real workflows: more flexible goals, clearer explanations of trends and data views better suited to long-term review. Creator Widget will remain a lightweight window on your Home Screen, rather than becoming a complex management system.
