Release history

A version-by-version record of new features, fixes, and compatibility changes. Each changelog is based on the corresponding release configuration; always use the download page’s published file verification details before installing.

1.0.32

Release history and App Store compatibility

  • Added a four-language Release History page, linked from the product page, for version-by-version features, fixes, and compatibility changes.
  • On macOS, Activator now detects the App Store edition of DaVinci Resolve and clearly reports it as unsupported instead of showing a misleading activated state. Activation, trials, and license checks require the official Blackmagic version; existing activation can still be deactivated to free its device slot.

Windows script delivery and weather recovery

  • Windows installers now include the Timeline Activity Colors / Mark Activity Regions script. It requires an all-users Python.org CPython 3.13.x x64 installation; the MSI detects it only and does not bundle or download it. Restart Resolve to use the script from the menu.
  • In Resolve 21, if the selected UI item is unavailable, Mark Activity Regions lists candidates under the playhead and requires explicit confirmation; no markers are changed before confirmation.
  • Fixed Timeline Activity Colors showing an error after its markers had already been updated.
  • Completed weather data is reused when a plug-in instance is recreated, so loaded weather remains available after cuts or copies even while the playhead stays still. On Windows, a first or still-running request may wait until Resolve’s next effect interaction before it appears.
  • Improved overlapping activation handling, Activator update detection, and release-package and update-metadata verification.

Timer pauses and weather reliability

  • Fixed Activity Time continuing during FIT timer pauses. Activity Time and active elapsed time now freeze during pauses and resume without counting stopped time.
  • Fixed weather data disappearing after clip edits or plug-in instance reconstruction. Weather recovers automatically without requiring Refresh Weather, and the status no longer remains stuck on “Updating weather…”.
  • Improved Timeline Activity Colors diagnostics. Failures report a privacy-safe stage code without exposing FIT paths, GPS data, or telemetry content.

1.0.29

Timeline Activity Regions and localization

  • Added Timeline Activity Regions for DaVinci Resolve. The script marks pre-activity, timer-pause, and post-activity ranges in blue, yellow, and red.
  • After trimming a clip, run the script again to rebuild regions from the saved activity plan without choosing the FIT file or playhead again.
  • Added complete Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese support. Activator, Windows License Manager, the plug-in, and Gauges follow their respective language settings; unsupported languages fall back to English.
  • Fixed repeated FIT selection after clip trimming, activity-region edges, update details, Windows secure environment-variable reading, and several renderer and host integration issues.
  • Windows Build 30 rotated the project-local self-signed signing key. Verify published SHA-256 values before installing.
